The bank’s private banking division commissioned a corporate brochure. The brief was to articulate their bespoke investment banking services, illustrating how with the banks personal help a client can see their assets grow from generation to generation.
The idea of topiary was used to express managed growth with images of people and hands being introduced into the gardens to represent the personal service. George Hardie’s illustrations successfully conveyed a complex message whilst remaining visually intriguing.
The front section of the document presented the bank’s expertise using a series of portraits and key messages, followed by the service proposition illustrated by the garden imagery.
To conclude the bespoke nature of the publication, a set of end-papers were introduced that created a maze of gardens.
